Of course the turbo AFM is designed for more flow.
It gives useful signals to the ECU at higher CFM.
But - when I modified my turbo (FCD, S-AFC, 720's, 255LPH pump, MBC) and upped the boost, I found that the AFM pegged at ~5K & WOT. Above that the ECU still controls fuel using it's Temp/Press/Rev map. At the high power end, the S-AFC is still signalling according to it's Rev map.

So- to answer your question, yes it will work, but it will peg out sooner and add some restriction.
You absolutly must monitor your AFRs at high power to not let it lean out.
To tune high power, you will need to work with some combination of larger injectors, RR-FPR, S-AFC, bigger fuel pump.
