s5 n/a at and mt engine core differences

are s5 n/a automatic transmission cores the same as the manual transmissioned cores? meaning are they plug and play replacement/swaps?
thanks

the engines are the same but your actual post body is confusing. you do mean the engines not the transmissions correct? if yes then yes there is no difference aside from the flex plate bolted to the engine instead of a flywheel.

I'm also not sure what you're asking, but if you are talking transmission cores (cases?) they are different, I've never seen an AT in person but i know the mounts are in a different spot on a chassis and requires an adapter of some sort to switch trannies.

engine no tranny. so i can remove the flex plate and just bolt everything from my manual car up with no mods or specail adapters?

thanks
