S5 converted to S4 OMP +Rtek

I am fighting through the failed OMP and burned ECU hell of the S5 FC.

I am pissed and exploring alternatives. I am NOT going to be held hostage to this fragile system, nor am I going to buy 20 year-old NewOldStock OMPs for $1500.

Premixing is for racing, not for daily driving, at least for me.

What about going to the Rtek, switching the front cover to S4, new waterpump, while I am in there add a solid thermal pellet and the S4 mechanical omp?

The one problem is the OMP throttle linkage. Can the S4 linkage be added to the S5 throttle system? does anyone have any experience or advice in this area?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Jacck

Next question: do I need the S4 CAS with the S4 front plate, or will my S5 CAS fit the S4 front plate?

Thanks

Thanks, Dennis. So the CAS is the same. I now just need to know if the OMP linkage can hook up to the S5 throttle body or if there is more work to be done. I will await your info.

Thanks for the help.

Jack
