S5 Cluster in S4

I did a bit of search and could not find this specific question.

My car is a JDM S4 and the S4 gauge needles on the speedo is messed up. It's shaking around.
Anyways, I got a S5 N/A cluster from a friend and before I open the dash up, re-pin the stuff to make it work on S4, I got some questions:

This has a speedo that goes up to 260km, but mine is JDM so it normally has 180km. How will this effect the speedo readings? Will it adjust itself so that when I'm going 20km, it will actually go 20km?

The tach is also different as this one goes up to 9k, instead of my 8k. The increments are different as well. How will this effect readings? Will it adjust itself accordingly?

If the answers to those are no...then how do i fix it?

Annd 1 more question. How do I switch the odometer numbers? This S5 one is significantly higher than what the engine really is. Do I just open the clear case right up and adjust it, or is there another proper way? Will it work normally after this?

Thanks in advance!

Adjusting the odometer is probably not a good idea, at least in the states that's considered a crime. Is a correct odometer reading super important to you?

I am pretty sure the gauges will adjust themselves, I know people put JDM gauges in their cars here and don't report any misreading problems. Other then its reading in km/hr instead of mi/hr.

Just throw em in and see what happens!!

Speedometer won't be right, you would need the 'sender' gear for the speedo cable changed in the tranny to the 180 kph speedo...

Yeah, I want to keep my odometer readings accurate. Anyways it's not a problem. I will stick it in there and see what happens!

You mean changed to the 260kph speedo? My current one is 180kph.
