S4 vs S5

so what are the differences between S4 and S5? all i know are moldings, taillights, front bumper and s5 holds a higher compression than s4. did i miss anything? educate me please.

oh does s5 t2 have bigger fender flare (front and rear) than s4 t2? I never got the chance to put a s5 and s4 side by side for a detail comparison, well at least cosmetic-wise.

thanks

look in the FAQ

edit: "flares" would be exaclty the same, mazda lists different fenders for s4 s5, but that's like saying the hood for a tempo is different than a topaz.....they're the same

so cosmetic-wise, s4 is identical to s5 besides moldings, tails, frontbumpers?

i tried to look into FAQ but couldnt seem to find what i need.

thanks for your input

Cosmetic wise, yes the external sheet metal is the same and interchangeable.

Where there are differences are the soft parts like the bumpers, lights, mouldings, and aero parts and of course interior plastic and structure.

i'm not flaming but this has been covered before, the tail lights are different, s4being squared and s5 rounded, the s4 has 146 hp and s5 160 for the na and 180 and 200 for the turbo 2. The molding was painted to match on the s5 and not on most s4 (i don't think they were all unmatched) the turbo mirrors are different, the na s4 s 5 and 6 ports are opened by back pressure while the s5 doesn't need back pressure. trim levels and wheels were different, thats all i can think of for now, if you need more let us know
