S4 TII vs S4 Na internals
 

Is there a difference between the s4 TII internals and the S4 na internals
also is possible to swap all turbo accessories onto an s4 na keg ?

S4 TII has lower compression rotors, different rotor housings ( just exhaust port sleeve is different) , intake ports on the side housing are different...

So, in your case, I wouldn't use turbo rotors in the NA keg, you'll lose power. Either get s4 NA rotors or upgrade to S5 NA rotors. Downside to upgrading the S5 rotors is you'll have to get an S5 flywheel, or an S5 aftermarket flywheel and counterweight, which if I remember correctly, means you'll need a new clutch and pressure plate too.

so does that mean that I can take an s4 na and put all the turbo parts on it and have it work?

Plus, S4 Turbo housings have coolant ports on them that run through the intake and turbo. NA doesn't. Not a good idea to run the turbo without them.

What's wrong with the T2 you're taking the parts from?

I believe you can use the T2 housing AND rotors on the 86-88, but not just one. That's what I gathered from the bruce t. mods section.

I mean, there are easy ways to get oil/coolant to the turbo, but I am not too fond of frankenbuilds anyway. I say nay, don't do it.

As said, the internals are different, the intake manifold on the TII is 4 port, NA is 6 port. External accessories like water pump, Alternator, PS, A/C all bolt on though.

OP, what are you trying to do? That may be the key.

edit: If you're looking to turbo your NA, it gets a bit complicated unless you're experienced. I'll wait for your answer.

NA housings have the ports, but there are freeze plugs installed in them. These plugs can be removed if someone is really motivated to use an NA keg with a TII intake and turbo. Also, it's only the rear port that is used on a TII. The front port gets an o-ring and is blocked off by the LIM & LIM gasket.
