could someone please tell me where the s4 t2 throttle cable brackets bolt up. its on a japanese s4 t2 in american gxl. nothing seems to line up and i was wondering if the jspec engine didnt have holes drilled for left hand drive throttle cable or im overlooking the obvious. thanks as im sure im just not seeing a good place to bolt them

This picture might help--it's an 87 TII (American spec). The support bracket for the cable is not shown, but you can see the mounting holes on the UIM. They are the two holes that are almost vertically aligned on the upper left side of the manifold, looking at the picture.

Edit: I've posted the picture before, that's why the labels are on it. The mounting holes are right above the "S" in "Slot for ...."

good info above but i believe he is referring to the brackets that support the cable as it twists around the engine bay not where it connects to the throttle body....
it may not be straight forward on the jspec engine because the jspec throttle cable was about 1/3 the length of an american one and came from the right side of the car since that was the drivers side so it didnt twist around the engine bay....since your car is left hand drive the cable has to twist all the way around the engine bay which is normal of american turbo cars
but i believe one bracket goes right above the BAC, one comes off the coolant filler neck and the other one kinda comes off another bracket that sticks up inbetween the alternator and oil filler neck
