S4 Single Piston Brake Calipers, Different 4 and 5 Lug Question
If this is in a thread out there I apologize. I did attempt to seach for it...
Does anyone know if the single piston front calipers are the same between the 4 and 5 lug cars that came with them? I am attempting to sell my old sets and need to know for compatibility purposes. I don't want to screw over anyone that buys them. I have the same question on the rears too. Thanks for your time, jason |
They have different part numbers for the single piston front brakes calipers and rotors based on series, so I would say, yes, they are different.
The S5 single piston front brakes use the same rotor as the 4 piston front brakes though, if that helps. |

Watch this turn out to be a hugely stupid question if someone replies that S4s with single piston front brakes did not come on models with 5-lugs. Oh well, at least if I look stupid I will find out my answer. Heh... Thanks, jason |
They didn't make a S4 with 5 lug single piston front brakes.
All the S4 models were either 4 lug single piston front brakes or 5 lug 4 piston front brakes. |
