S4 N/A to S5 T2 Swap

Let the flames begin. I've searched for the past 2 hours and can't for the liife of me find definitive answers. So far i have this info. In order to keep the MOP i need to swap front covers from a S4 T2 (a S4 N/A will not work) If i want to run premix i still have to run the s4 front cover with a block off plate. If i dont want to swap front covers and run premix the only way is to run standalone (Power FC would be my choice) correct? Then i need to swap the s4 t2 t/b with tps and the coolant temp sensor(???) I use the S4 N/A harness with the s4 t2 ecu. Then i need to swap the s4 t2 injectors. This is what i have so far. Feel free to correct me or add things im missing. I've read through the rotary ressurection site also and still am confused. Thanks in advance!

NA front covers do not have the oil tubes for the turbo, so you have to use a turbo one. Series depends on what OMP you're running.

There is another work around for the S5 OMP. You can get an Rtek ecu (digital tuning, inc.) that removes the OMP function and trouble code detection from the ECU. At that point, you can just block it off and pre-mix.

This is probably one of the most informative turbo swap FAQ's. https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-gen-arch...etails-813825/

Okay so I've decided to go with an apexi power fc. So my new question is what do I need? I'm swapping a s5 street ported motor with a gt35 into a an s4 n / a chassis. I'm thinking 1000cc secondaries with 720cc primaries. With the apfc I can block off the mop and keep the s5 tps's/ throttle body correct? How would I make the dash harness work? Would it be easier to just switch to the s4 tb with single tps and get the banzai s4 pfc adapter? Is the throttle body the only thing I need to change (with the exception of all the stuff I need to change with getting the banzai adapter)? Thanks in advance!

Use the S4 engine harness and S4 adapter. You can not mix S4 and S5 harnesses, they have completely different wiring and connectors.

The S4 adapter has accommodations for wiring in the S5 TPS.

This may sound dumb but can I delete the mop with the power fc? Would it just be easier to swap in the s4 tb/tps for the banzai s4 adapter? Last one... Does the n/a tps/ tb work for a t2?

Yes you can delete the OMP with a PFC. I don't think it can control the it anyway.

You want to use an S5 or other full-sweep TPS. S4's max out at about 60% of the physical throttle opening.

NA and turbo TB's are not interchangeable. The flanges bolt up, but almost everything is in the wrong place. S5 NA and turbo TPS's are different. But you should be able to calibrate the readings into the PFC for fully open/closed positions. Maybe Banzai can confirm.
