s4 n/a runs dead lean over 6k

hey guys,
I have a 1988 n/a that runs dead lean after 5.5-6k even with my safc maxed out to +50% it is still lean, it runs better and doesnt hesitat as much, but its still running lean.
Ive had the injectors cleaned recently, the pump is new and the filter is only a year old. any ideas?

Get bigger secondaries.

its a stock port n/a though, I shouldnt need bigger secondarys. I think this problem is deeper than maxing out the stock injectors.

Are you sure your injectors are flowing good?

Check fuel pressure.

How are you measuring A/F ratio?

The S-AFC can only attempt to fool the stock ECU into supplying more fuel. If it is already maxing the injectors (something like 85% duty cycle on the stock ECU) then cranking up the S-AFC isn't going to matter.

If the fuel pressure is checked while your doing six grand and is good (37-40psi) then I'd think the afm is the wrong one OR been fiddled with. Assuming the fuel injectors are the ones meant for your car and you already checked that out. AFM should have N326 or N327 on it.
