S4 GXL to S4 Turbo question

I bought a 87 GXL shell with the intent of swapping over my T2 stuff to it.

The car previously had a haltech in it and the shop who removed everything didn't really take their time, so i am stuck with cut harness' and wires.

I removed the charnging harness and main fuse block from the T2, but i am stuck with 3 plugs that the 87 T2 donor car doesn't have that the GXL does, the one I am the most worried about is the alternator signal, the two wires that come off the back of the alternator have no where to go.

pictures are below...

this is what my harness looks like with the T2 charge/fuse harness in, there are 3 empty plugs.

This is the harness I removed from the GXL when I got it, as you can see its cut because someone couldn't take the time to undo a couple 10 mils. makes me sick.

can anyone give me some insight as to what I am missing?

the biggest problem is the alternator signal wires were missing from the remains of the gxl harness but on the TII harness they go to the extra 6 pin connector
i have everything else figured out .....but the missing alt sig wires boggles my mind lol..... i cant see any evidence of them being anywhere
are they just spliced into a switched 12v signal and neg? ( im talking about the 2 pin connector that plugs in the alternator)

6 Attachment(s)
TURBO cars have the alternator plugs in the ENGINE harness.

Non Turbo cars have the alternator plug in the EM harness.

The non turbo FRONT harness won't mate with a Turbo ENGINE harness. Unless you fiddle fuck around and do some moving of wires etc.

IN the attached jpg the ENGINE hareness is shown in BLUE. The FRONT harness in RED. The EM harness in black/white.

You can over come your problem, by staring at the non turbo wiring and comparing it with the Turbo wiring and making adjustments to correct the irregularities.

HINT: There is no place on the non turbo FRONT harness to connect the Turbo Engine harness when it comes to the alternator wires.

Look at the jpgs and compare FE-03 and FE-06 connectors for Turbo vs non turbo. Quite a difference.

yeah, Derrick (fc3sdrift) figured it out earlier today, just as you are saying I believe.

I was hoping you'd chime in to verify, Thanks a lot.

Thanks Hailers! We think alike, those are the pages i ended up using to figure it out

i had just cut the tape , i removed the tII sensor harness from the charge harness and joined the gxl sensor wires to the TII charge harness ,no splicing or anything just re-rapped it, then ran the wires for the ALT and collant sensor

Yeah, I forgot to mention the water temperature wire runs in different ORANGE plugs on the EM harness.

I've never personally done what ya'all are doing, but more or less can see the problems when looking at the wiring diagrams and looking at the diffence in plugs.

yeah, my temp gauge on the cluster is pegged all the time right now.
