S4 FCD on a S5
 

I've been told by a knowledgeable individual that since the s5's don't have a 12V lead at the connector, that if i splice a 12v lead into that wire of the fcd, it should technically work fine.

Can someone confirm this for me please?

Otherwise my mazdatrix fcd goes up for sale :( Its in mint shape too, still has the chalk on it lol :)

I REALLY don't want to risk my ecu/electronics by running this experiment.
