?s on turbo manifolds
 
so wondering if i can run an aftermarket fd tube manifold fit on and fc? ill be running and s5 turbo motor with a gt35 turbo just wonder since fd manifolds are about half the price as the Fc's

You'll likely have clearance issues between the turbo and the lower intake manifold

It's a mixed bag. Some will clear the LIM, but others won't like need_RX7 said. The FD LIM sits up higher to make room for the twin turbos. You can see what I mean here: http://www.rotorhead.ca/articles/200...te-comparison/.

I am running a turbo manifold that is supposedly a Feed manifold for an REW. I got it used off here a few years and it has worked out well with the T2 intake manifold. The key is that it is a long runner design that sets the turbo forward. A manifold with shorter runners, like a lot of the T3 manifolds out there, may not fit.

I just bought an fd mani for my t2 and I was going to take a racing beat header flange and weld it and machine it so it will clear. You could always try this.

which manifold did you buy?
