S-AFC -- piggyback blue wire to ECU o2 wire?

I've installled my S-AFC, and I've read a little today on the Forum about connecting its unused blue wire to the o2 sensor wire.

What wasn't specifically stated was whether or not the blue wire could be piggybacked onto the o2 wire before the o2 goes into the gangplug at the ECU.

o2 wire - grey, pin 2D

Will piggybacking this way establish the connection I want (giving the S-AFC the o2 signal) without compromising the signal to the ECU or harming either the ECU or the S-AFC?

My S-AFC has not been tuned yet, btw... I consider this part of the installation. :)

yea its supposed to technically give you the a/f ratio you just have to convert the voltage... although the stock o2 sensor is almost useless you can do this if you want...

yes. at WOT throttle and the o2 sensor warmed up you should get 0.7 Volts.

I woudln't bother. I'd consider it pretty useless.

you can only see the voltage in the sensor check area. and only that one thing will show up. (you can't have it show up with the rpms / throttle etc section) and it's like 15 button pushes to gett back into the tuning section from there..

Is 0.7 volts supposed to translate over to a safe a/f ratio? I know the regular O2 sensor isn't a good indicator, but I'm just trying to get ballpark figures. I seem to be bogging down at 5+ psi and I'm reading over 0.9 on the SAFC when this happens. Possibly way too rich?
