Rx8 rims with 25mm spacers, Centric Rings?

since the stock hub bore is 59.5mm and the rx8 rim is 67.1mm will a couple of .#mm off work for the centric ring?

like this http://www.jegs.com/i/Detroit+Wheels...006-4/10002/-1 ???

has anyone ever ordered these? i normally wont buy from ebay but i dont have $300 to drop on spacers. - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HUBCE...ht_4960wt_1167

Those Jegs hub centering rings look like plastic. They will work, but I like the aluminum ones better myself; seem less likely to get chipped or broken, especially given how thin they need to be in your application. I bought mine from Discount Tire Direct. I think you have to call them and give you your specs to order, but their site says they're $15 for a set:

By the way, I'm pretty sure the FC centerbore size is actually 59.6 mm, not 59.5 mm, not that such a small difference would really matter.

lol im not really sure what to think anymore, ive heard both 59.6 and 59.5!
i also have heard that the aluminum rings cause corrosion immediately but im sure anti seize would fix it, and like you said i need more durable ones. thx for the info, ill call them in the am to order.

what are your thoughts on those spacers?

A few years ago, I bought some older Kosei wheels with a fairly large centerbore size; I forget what it was. I first got some of the black plastic hub centering rings someplace though now I forget where from. The plastic was weirdly brittle and you could chip it with your fingernail so I had serious reservations about them holding up over time. I've heard from other people that the plastic rings are fine though, so I don't have any scientific data to back up my dislike of them.

As for corrosion, I did always put a nice coating of anti-seize on my aluminum centering rings. Mine were also anodized blue which may have helped retard corrosion. In any event, in the three years I had them on the car, I never had any issues with them.

My recollection is that the FC hub diameter is 59.61 mm which would round to 59.6. Right now I have a set of BBS wheels on my car that were an OEM Toyota fitment. Evidently Toyota's hub diameter is 60.1 so I don't have enough room for any kind of centering rings. I always torque the lug nuts with the wheels off the ground and have never noticed any vibration or other weird problems.

I used the aluminum hub centric rings that came with the adapters and haven't had any issues yet...been running rx8 wheels on my 90gtu for over a year...best of luck

So i want to order some 15mm spacers, are these the right ones? In the 60mm of course.

I've had plastic rings a few times and each time I've had to chip it off with a screw driver due to them adhering to the hub. I would get metal ones and grind out a spot on each side to slide the tip of a scre driver behind... And as stated before- anti sieze would help as well.

I gave up and usually just torque the lugs evenly and slowly in a cross pattern. test/trial/error.

Those are pretty expensive. You could get a pair of 59.5 bore/5x114.3/15mm spacers from H&R for $119 (PN 30655950). It looks like they come with longer studs you'll have to press in. If you go up to 25mm+ they'll have a second set of lugs and studs instead.

http://www.trakplus.com/application. Use a Mazda 626 for a search, since RX7 isn't listed.

I just ordered some momo aluminum centric rings in 59.6mm - 72.2mm for $20.00 shipped on ebay.

I'll try to remember to take some pics when I get them installed and let you all know how well they work, fit, etc.
