RX7 Paint Job & series questions

Hey Guys whats up? I am just wandering if theres any way to find out what an RX7's original paint color is. A label hidden somewhere, etc. that would say. If possible, I would like to know if theres a way to tell how many of my RX7 were made that year, and which one mine is. Ex. 107 of 1001. Thanks a lot in advance!

Should be a plate in the engine bay on the firewall I believe, should give you the paint code. THen do a search for "paint code"

Paint code is on the plate that is fastened to the drivers side door jamb. Can't answer your other question except that if you decipher the VIN it will tell you the year, model and the number of your car but not the total number built. Build date is also on the drivers side plate.

Not sure how legible this will be, the second column of numbers is total US RX-7's, first is verts. Stats from various sources, the vert totals are from Mazda USA phone call, they would not put it on paper.

Depends on the color as all metallic colors are clear coated
The paint code is on the plate on the cowl

im sure you know your green car is a custom, look at the plate under the hood by the wiper motor for the color code, they were enamel
