rx7 issues as always

well i tryed posting this last night.. but my comp signed me out and i dont think it worked.. but here we go again..

so like 2 days ago.. i couldnt start my car.. it was cranking, getting fuel and spark.. then it had to be something with the air... i couldnt find any vaccume leaks.. but after having a friend over as a second hand. we got it started by playing with the delay valve.. and it starts every time after that.... it was weird.. but now it doesnt idle like it did... do u guys know where i can find a place to buy a new delay valve and a water thermo valve?
im sure thats what they are called... i dont have a repair book for my car,, and alldata doesnt say a damn thing lol.

what does it mean when all the warning lights turn on while driving, car doesnt act any different.. and the only known problem.. is a bad alternator.. that im replacing today.

what is the average oil pressure for when the car is already warm and say driving on the freeway.. is it above 60? or what... i think thats it...

any and all help much appreciated.. i keep having coolant lines break while driving.. so im replacing them.. so i figured might as well fix everything lol

-You answered your own question.

3.) Oil pressure should be in the 60-70 psi range give or take a little under the conditions you described.

4.) Replace the factory coolant clamps with something much better such as T clamps, and use a ratchet to tighten them.

sweet thanks for the parts,

im glad i could answer my own question.. too bad i didnt know lol.

thanks. i just wanted to make sure because mine was a little below 60.. but it could also be the oil im using. and where i live.. and my oil leaks.. lol

and yeah. thats what ive been doin. i hate the oem ones.. they suck.

The stock gauges aren't exactly accurate either. They do a decent job though.

yeah thats what i can tell so far.. not as accurate as id like.. but i dont really like the look of aftermarket gauges unless they are really clean and almost look stock..

but i swapped the alt today... much better now.. it even seems my old 4k hesitation is gone.. but well see.. now its just an idle issue
