Rx-7 FC Power window question (searched)
 

Hi all,

i've been having a power windows problem and it's kinda strange. I've searched the forum and couldn't find a good match to the symptoms i'm experiencing. Hope you guys can help me out.

Basically the power windows may not work sometimes. They work most of the time, but when they don't, both sides don't work. They kind of fall asleep once in awhile. When the driver's side don't work, even the passenger side will not work. The driver's master switch is set to "on" so even when you go press the passenger side the windows will not work. But after awhile it'll work.

It seems to only not work when the car is driving for awhile and goes on and off. But in the morning when i start her up the windows will work. So it's kinda random. I took out the switches, cleaned the contacts and it worked beautifully at the garage where i do her maintenance. Then while driving the problem comes back.

I'm just wondering if it's the problem with the driver switch. Just wondering if anyone know if the passenger switch is connected to the driver's switch power suply so if the driver switch "sleeps" off, even the passenger doesn't work.

Oh, btw i have a JDM right hand drive FC as i live in South East Asia. Was also wondering if anyone know if i can buy the left hand driver's switch in US and modify it to suit the JDM models.
