RX-7 Convertible tire size

I've been looking all over the house for my RX-7 book but of course it's no where to be found when I want it, so now I have to ask a stupid question.

What size tires does a 88 RX-7 convertible with the BBS wheels take? I've got a set of tires from a 95 Camry and was curious if they would fit.

I am running 205/60/15 on my vert wheels

Ok mine are 205/65/15, Would that pose a problem with the slightly different size?

Please read the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this section, before posting. The FAQ for FC thread has many of the commonly asked questions and answers including yours:

What size are my wheels?
The stock sizes all have an offset of 40mm or 40 ET and are:
14x6 w/ 114.3x4 bolt pattern (Base, Luxury, 87.5-88 SE)
15x6 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (GXL, Sport, GTU, 91 coupe)
15x6.5 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (convertible)
16x7 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (Turbo, GTUs, Infini IV)

In addition please see below in this thread for stock wheel type and weight.

On the same vein, the stock tire sizes are:
14x6 = 185/70HR14
15x6 & 15x6.5 = 205/60VR15
16x7 = 205/55VR16

Yeah, your speedo will be off, and your ride will be compromised

By how much? I wouldn't think it would make that big of a difference.

about 3.3% off.... in other words when your speedo says 60 MPH you are really driving 62 MPH.

Plus the sidewall of the tire increases from the stock 4.8" to about 5.2"... a pretty sizable difference
