running hot problem
 

found out that the rx7 turbo i want to buy is running hot, not over heating. what could be a cause of it. he says that he will take 1200 for it not 1700, should i try to get it lower or should i jump.

What exactly does he mean by running hot? If its overheating badly, that could mean the motor is shot. Can you get any more specifics on it?

well, when i talked to him he said that the engine would get hot when it ran. what does it take to get the engine back to where it should be?

You need a lot more information than that, and need to take a good look at the car as well. It could be anything from something simple like a thermostat, plugged up radiator.....or the "harder" things (aka more expensive). Anyhow like I said, you need to get and provide more details. "Engine would get hot when it ran"......does that mean at idle, or while driving, etc.
