running but running to rich, wants to die when i give gas???
 

im confused anyone know what it could be doing. i just got it to stay idling, and now everytime i give it alittle gas it hestates then feels as if it has 3 horsepower. i just don't get it. anyone know what the problem could be?

i has brand new fuel lines, new fuel filter and fuel pump, nothing is being pinched.

is idling at 1300rpms and i don't know whats wrong. any ideas or thought?

Vacuum leak maybe? Why is it idling so high first of all? Is the air bypass valve out of whack? Since all the fuel components seem to be new, assuming the fuel is being delivered properly, maybe the air is not being delivered properly. When you replaced those lines, did you also replace intake manifold gaskets, or re-use old ones? That could be causing some air/vacuum leaks as well.

Also, you can't always assume that new parts are perfect, I would confirm your fuel is being delivered as expected, then start looking at other things (fuel, and spark).

yea i agree with -six-, possibly a vacuum leak, could be a bad ground, could be a blown motor, could be bad injectors, lots of other possibilities too. sounds like you need to go get dirty and spend sometime under the hood :P

Yea probably vaccum leak, aslo check mass air sensor. Sometimes when they go bad it idles horribly.

I wouldn't go by that alone, it's just not a reliable indicator, rotaries leave alot of unburned fuel by nature.

I would check that bypass air valve, and look for vacuum leaks. Let us know what happens.

I agree. High Idle and a rich mixture are symptoms of A LOT of problems and the only way to figure it out is if there are more clues to solve this puzzle. But then again vacuum leak is the most likely...

i can smell exhaust fumes even tho my car is running right. that just how the motor works. no exhaust fumes in the cabin of course

Most likly somthing electrical.

Mke sure your throttle sensor is not shorting out. This is probubly not the cause though. I would check your AFM. Look in the Factory Service Manual for procedure.

i found out what it is, rear rotor housing has NO compression i guess you just can't trust people when buying a motor. its sucks ass. now i have to let it sit longer till i can save up more money...
