ahhh good brand I usually pick that stuff up for about 8 bucks a gallon :)

Net Seven 12-03-04 10:09 AM

I use the stuff from walmart... Super-tech i think its called. Its cheap, and its tcw-3

SevenDreamz 12-03-04 10:12 AM

I run Idemitsu....well havent actually ran it yet....LOL But in my fresh Jpsec swap thats what I'll be running....that stuff is the best....but it is a little more expensive than the others...but hey I love my Apex Seals. Idemistsu is only available in 2 places here in the U.S. if im not mistaken.

Chuck 12-03-04 10:27 AM

I use the Walmart stuff...buy it by the gallon. It's TCW3 rated and seems to do fine in my 91 N/A.

Aaron Cake 12-03-04 10:32 AM

Please search. This has been covered many times in the past.

WannaSeeMyWankel 12-03-04 03:52 PM

how much oil per gallon do you guys use?

casio 12-03-04 03:57 PM

not in the searching mood?
i use wal mart: $1.18 per bottle
i've been told .75-1.00 ounce per gallon.

WannaSeeMyWankel 12-03-04 04:36 PM

I did search as I always do, but I never get the specific answers that I need

ddub 12-03-04 04:40 PM

If you didn't find it in the search, then you didn't search well enough. Normal is 1 ounce per 1 gallon, if you have the MOP still you use less, if you want added protection or overkill you use more.

Parastie 12-03-04 06:06 PM

I know I'm going to get flammed but I rock MMO as pre-mix.

Parastie 12-03-04 07:35 PM

I want to see tear down pics of an engine that used MMO; i'm curious as to what the findings are.

hondahater 12-03-04 07:38 PM

^^^agreed!

ImprezedRS 12-03-04 07:40 PM

Mobil 1 Full Synthetic TCW-3 certified 2-Stroke oil
$3.99 for a 16oz bottle from Autozone

amishboy 12-03-04 08:04 PM

Walmart baby

RotaryEvolution 12-03-04 08:09 PM

i use redline synthetic at a 100:1 premix if i plan on running near or possibly above redline, aside from that i just use standard 2 stroke oil that you can find anywhere that is TCW certified.

bcty 12-03-04 09:07 PM

castrol super 2 stroke
16oz per fillup
S5 T2

RotaryEvolution 12-03-04 09:14 PM

oh, and i wouldn't use castor oil unless you rebuild often, it has high ash content and will carbon up seals, it is a good short term lubricant but not good for the long term.

i always did love the smell of castor oil and race gas though. :)
