rtek 1.7 and upgraded injectors.. do i NEED them? help!
 

Im getting an Rtek 1.7 chip installed this week and was upgrading my fuel system to walbro pump, universal FPR, and some higher (720cc) secondary injectors. Im pushing about 12lbs+ of boost on an s5 turbo.

My first question is, with the Rtek chip do i need an SAFC for the car to run well? I've heard they're unreliable and most people just get a standalone system... which would defeat my purspose of getting the Rtek in the first place! But a standalone is out of the question for me at this point..

Second question is, i heard that the stock injectors are good up to 300 horses, so if i just upgrade the fuel pump and FPR do i even NEED the Rtek and injectors?

The car's a daily driver so want to keep it reliable as possible, meaning i dont want to get crazy with upgraded computers and injectors if i dont really have to. (because with my experience, shit always tends to get nappy when you start changing all the components around)

or shit would it just be wiser to get walbro pump and a manual boost controller and turn my boost down?
