ROTARY TURBO sticker under rubstrip on door, Factory Mazda option in japan? anyone

Theyre in the TURBO II text also, that seems like it would be kinda cool on some color combos. anyone have a picture of this?
He says theyre installed on the doors just below the "beltline" and a few inchs high and 27" long. Hmmm, maybe I could have some of these cut out of vinyl, dunno if it be overkill w/ the TURBO II stickers on the fender, maybe thats why they didnt have them in U.S. too many stickers......

If you use the "Buy It Now" option I will include an extremely rare decal set sold by Mazda for the 2nd gen RX-7. This is a set of matching decals in the factory box, part number is H080 77 619. I purchased this at a Mazda dealer in Tokyo in 1985 I believe. It has been stored in my garage for almost 30 years! These decals are about 27" long and several inches high. Also included is one page that has drawings and instructions in Japanese (wife will translate for an added fee !) Oh yeah ! ... the decals say, "ROTARY TURBO", and it appears that they should be installed just below the belt line of each door.

No, they went where the TurboII fender stickers was/were on the 87-90 Turbo.

There was also a Turbo Rotary Sticker on the S4 taillights in Japan

i thought there was no turbo 1st gen, and the 86 was the first turbo made in japan? Chances are I'm wrong... but I think thats right...

No, there was the 12AT (turbo first gen in Japan and the Elford Turbo which was a first gen in the UK) in 84 and 85.

quite a price for a sticker that could be easily reproduced....

the guy is smoking some of the good stuff:

" I purchased this at a Mazda dealer in Tokyo in 1985 I believe. It has been stored in my garage for almost 30 years!"

he also can't count.

That sticker is the stock door decal for the 82-89 HB Cosmos that were 12AT-powered. No other Mazdas used it.

Here's my old one. Note the bootlid badge too, which was also fitted to the rear and sides of the S3 Turbo. ;)

Four seats, tonnes of luxuries, only 1200kg (~2640lb), high-14's from a mildly-modded 12AT. :D
