reverse vented hood??

does the reverse vented hood suck the air in over a v mount setup? if so how well?

It pulls the air through when properly ducted.

If you run a vmic you need a vented hood.

Are you talking about a hood with an exhaust vent on the top or a hood with a cowl induction inlet at the rear?

Regular vented hood... They vent the hot air out from the engine bay over the hood. Works well in combination with a VMIC with proper ducting.

Yes, that hood will help air flow through an intercooler, especially if a duct is installed between the intercooler and the hood outlet vent. It will work with a typical front-mount, v-mount, or horizontal-mount setup. Even when the car is not moving, natural convection could help suck air through the intercooler.

You can use metal, composite, high-temp plastic, or similar materials for ducting.
