Reseting the ECU
 

ok how would i reset the ECU????????

Take the negative cable off the battery and pump the brake pedal a few times and wait like 5 min. Replace neg. cable. Done.

here is the web page i found on this forum http://www.1300cc.com/howto/how2/codes.html i did what it said with the wire and then turned the ign ON and the lights came on the check engine light went out once and then came back on and didnt flash agian what does that mean????? need some info here thanks

put the codes in?? LOL

codes are a bad thing. they are given to you by the ecu when there is a problem so you know what to look at to fix.

ok i did the test and the check engine light turned off then turned back on only once when i turned the ign on what does that mean and my car still dont start?????
