Replacing transmission fluid. Will this work?
1 Attachment(s)
I read the threads about changing the tranny fluid. I do not have an air compressior for Icemark's suggestion (I think it was Icemark). Would this work, it is a syphon pump hand pump with tubing?
I thought that I dould drian and then add the new oild via this hand pump, any problems with this plan? Thanks, -Max |
I'm the one that came up with the air compressor idea...http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/transfluid.htm :)
Yes, that hand pump will work fine. |

Yes, that hand pump will work fine. My apologies to Aaron Cake. I knew it was one of the RX-7 masters. -Max |
Hey bro. Thanks!
I've been wanting to change my fluid for a while, going to hit this up this weekend... Do you have a link for the differential fluid? Thanks again, Aaron! |

I tried the air compressor setup but it took forever. Purchased a $6 fluid pump and never looked back.
I HATE the sulfuric smell of gear oil! |
