Replacing engine question......

Does it matter the type of transmission? I have found a used engine from an 86 automatic........ my car is an 86 manual. Does it matter, or will the engine go right in?

It should mate up perfectly fine, you should not have any prolbems.

You need to just swap out the automatic engine flexplate and counterweight with the manual engine flywheel.&nbsp Everything else should work if you use the manual engine harness.
