Replacing all fluid nipples on a 13B
 

Many of the oil and coolant nipples on my motor parts are in poor condition, mostly rusty, yet the rest of the parts are in great shape. If anyone has replaced them by pulling/cutting them off, tapping a thread, then screwing in a fitting I would like to hear which pipe taps and fittings are needed. I would gladly take the time to do it myself, but I no longer have lots of time to finish this rebuild nor do I have readily available transportation to run around looking for pipe taps and fittings. However, I will do what I can in the absence of input.

The only nipples I can think of are the two small water nipples (rear of water pump housing, rear iron), the heater hose nipple and the extra water nipple on the pump housing if your car is a TII.

The small water nipples can be drilled and tapped out to 1/4" NPT, while the rear iron should be drilled and tapped out to 1/2" NPT being VERY CAREFUL not to crack it.

The remaining oil fittings are all banjo bolts.
