i dunno about a write up on it, but its really easy to do. its a matter of getting the block-off plates(racing beat and mazdatrix both sell them) then installing them, and capping off the vac lines. the airpump can be removed without any real modifications, just take it off. the only thing to note is the pipe that goes from the pump to cat and the pump to intake. those both have to be blocked/removed. but its all real simple.

cool, i dont know what block off plates are, or what they look like, or what they do can u tell me?

block off plates are little plates of metal that cover the hole thats left when you remove stuff. they make them for ACV and EGR. mine are homemade but work just fine. search around racing beats site and you can find them on there . not sure what they are called on the site though. they are fairly cheap, i wanna say.

cool i will look in to that thanks. oh one more thing. what can u recomend as far as an air filter?

i use a cheap, generic filter i got from a local speed shop. it works for me. but i hear good things about the Apex intake kit. its available most anywhere

Can buy them as kits http://www.k2rd.com/Online_Catalog/BlockOffPlates.htm
