Removing Heater - What should i do with coolant flow?

I would like to remove the Heater and so forth from my car. I only drive it during the summer so its not needed and since im removing everything else...well you get the idea. Should I just run a hose from the block back down to the radiator? Or can I block it off or what? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

just block off each end.

Cool, I kinda figured there wasnt coolant flowing through the heater core when it was off anyways but I figured I better ask first. I need a new engine but hopefully not before getting it running this time...

Yeah, it does circulate whenever the thermostat is open. You could loop the hoses together if you wanted, but there's no problem with blocking it off.

I am looking into converting to an electric heater core so I can get rid of those hoses cluttering up my engine bay
