Removing Cruise Control/Sub Zero Start

The cruise control motor is simple to remove, you unhook the harness and than undo the 3 10mm bolts. You reattach one of the bolts because it also holds on a ground to "something." How do you remove the cable from the throttle? Does it require a special tool? Both Haynes and FSM have very little about the cruise control. Mine does not work nor do I have any want for it.

Another reason I want to do this is to remove the Sub Zero start. All you do is remove the reservoir and cap the line.. right? Thanks!

It's really quite simple.

The throttle and cruise cables look like this... ------ll

The little 'T' part is a metal piece on the end of the cable.

The cables are on roller-type fittings.

With the engine OFF, open the throttle by hand and 'roll' the little T-fitting at the end of the cable off of it's bracket, and you're done.

It sounds like it makes no sense when you're reading what I've just typed, but when you ACTUALLY look at it after reading this, it'll make perfect sense.

It does?

What might that "something" be?
