Removing coolant temp sensor help please!
So I went to remove the coolant temp sensor to change it because the gauge was not working and it broke apart leaving the part that is screwed into the engine still in the engine. I wanted to see if anyone might have any advice on how to remove the threaded portion that is still inside.

Since you mentioned the sensor for the gauge you're talking the one on the rear iron, right? Not much room there. You may have to drill into it and then use an extractor to remove it. Not easy, but it all depends on how it broke and what's left of it. Post a pic.

It does suck. I find the square, tapered extractors with the groove down the edge work best on tapered pipe threads. The reverse spiral ones seem to keep spreading the thin wall into the thread it's frozen into.
