REDLINE synthetic 2 stroke oil... dyno proof?
 

Im about to fill my tranny, differential and shifter holes with redline synthetic... I was wondering I own a s4 gxl... It has been running on premix for over 2000 miles. I use castrol tcw-3 certified 2 stroke oil... I was wondering what kind of 2 stroke oil i should buy from redlineoil.com... they have like 4 different ones... has anyone notice any differences running with this special 2 stroke oil than cheaper brands like castrol...

I have a 99 GSX Limited and it it's been flawless so far. 951 CC's 135+ HP, 0-60 faster than any street car on the planet.

Its cool man... but seriously their is liek 4 different types of redline 2 stroker i need to knwo which oen to use.. based on the search posts most of teh guys use the racing 2 stroke oil is this one tcw-3 certified? is it synthetic? if so will this damage the engine at all? ( and will I gain 5hp at the wheels like the dyno's show )

I know what you had in mind, I just thought I would throw in a little flavor to the thread :D ... Redline does not make any junk, all their oils are top notch, though I'm not really sure about the useage in a 7 .. G luck.

Any will work well.

But, TCW3/NMMA cert means something to me. Use the watercraft 2 stroke.

Or, buy a bottle of each and monitor spark plug condition & perceived engine performance. Maybe your driving style/mixratio/enginecondition might prefer one over another.

Send Redline an email. I bet that they will recommend something for the premixed rotary.

If you use too much of the Redline it will foul the plugs. Otherwise good product.

I use the Kawasaki Watercraft Premuim TCW3 to premix and my plugs look pretty good and I'm running rich. I recomend this to anyone.

TCW3 is it bro. Some go above and beyond. BUT your engine won't last long enough to justify paying 4 dollars for a quart of some BADASS oil. It probably won't register on a dyno either. It is less than 1% of the fuel tank's contents so it could only do so much for power. When it comes right down to it if it is TCW-3 certified it is ok for your engine and all the other systems on the car.

To add to the dyno thing. You could probably make more of an impact on your dyno graph by changing the AMOUNT not the type of oil you use. Adding more oil in the tank will make your car run leaner effectivly lowering the "RICH" settings the stock ECU has and making a LITTLE more power. How much is hard to tell. ;)

I seriously doubt running more oil will make more power.
I race motocross, 2001 KX 125, so I know quite a bit about running 2 stroke.
You would be running richer on oil content and probably just foul plugs and that definatley wont make more power.
