ok, so my dad's friend is a fucking genius mechanic (he can spot and diagnose almost any problem on the spot)
he says that when his friends were into rotaries (back in the day's of rx-2s and rx-3s) that they woud just put different/better rotors in and get them up to 14k rpm is that true, or was he exagerating, and is it applicable to our cars |
he probably meant lighter rotors, race bearings, and other supporting mods. i know they could probably go that high with a big port, but i think most "race" cars stick around 10-11. correct me if im wrong

f1s rev up to 17k on some cars, most are about 15k. with super ligh rotors, lots of gas and a light flywheel and you could get about 12k i would think, it's not like a pisten where you hit liek 10k and the head is to much at that speed for the arm to hold onto and snap
