'86 GXL Electrical/Spark issue

I posted about this a couple days ago in the new member section, but haven't had much luck, so I figured I'd post here in the hopes that someone knowledgeable in the electrical system sees this.

I'm getting spark for the first like ~2 seconds that I crank the engine but then the tach goes out and I lose spark on all four plugs.

First thing I checked of course was my fuses. They all have good continuity. The main fusible links under the hood are pretty much brand new too.

Pulled the spark plugs and they were a bit black from accidentally flooding the engine the first time it died but other than that they looked good. Put new ones in though. The plug wires are good too, they're practically new NGKs.

I checked the resistance of my coils and they all read around .8-.9 ohms.
Crank angle sensor also had good resistance.

I then plugged in another CAS I have and turned the gear with a timing light hooked up to each of the plug wires. I got a consistent spark on all four when I turned the gear.

I've gone through and checked all my grounds, cleaned the contacts, etc. Even checked to make sure the igniters were grounded good with my multi-meter and no matter where I put my lead on the igniter mounting brackets, I got a solid 12v. The only ground I didn't check was the one attached to the rotor housing since I'd have to pull the intake manifold off. Can't imagine that one is bad though...

I also checked to make sure I was getting 12v to the coils and the ECU with the key on and they are getting 12v.

After checking all that I decided to pull the carpet up to get to the ECU and I found this...

That is the cluster of wires on the right most plug on the ECU. F-31 I believe, but I could be wrong... couldn't find a diagram anywhere that showed the names of those plugs so I'm just going off memory.
Looks like some sort of critter made a nest down there and got a little hungry for copper!
I unwrapped the electrical tape to look at each individual wire and they actually didn't look as bad as they did when they were all bundled together. I wrapped each one that was chewed up in electrical tape just to quickly try and insulate them to see if it would help.
No dice, still doing the exact same thing.
I do have another harness I could try swapping in, but I know how tedious that would be...

Anyone have any suggestions? Would it be worth it to replace that harness or should I try something else first?
I've pretty much exhausted all I know to check...

those wires looked like someone was accessing the wire through the insulation.(probing)
I've peeled wire back before BUT I tape them after doing so.

I'd Try a Deflood procedure First..just to see if there is some signs of life.
