rebuild or buy new?
so i have a shifting issue and some of you had diagnosed that it was the clutch slave and master cylinder. so my question to you all is should i just replace it new with parts from rockauto.com or should i rebuild it. because they sell rebuild kits for about 10 bucks for both. and does the parts vary from models? ie: turbo, na, coupe, vert. because i have a 10ae and dont wanna get mixed up. thanks

get mazda genuine parts. everything all together is pretty cheap, and get both master and slave at the same time.

N/A and Turbo are different.
Don't rebuild, buy new. Don't buy from an internet vendor, buy from a local (autozone, orielly etc) for ease of return/warranty etc. The master and slave won't cost more than $45 total with local lifetime warranty. And get a new clutch hose. The stainless braids type are as cheap as the rubber oem type. |
k thanks guys
