how hard is it to rebuild a 13b? i think my coolant seals are bad i wanted to know if i could do it myself. also any ideas on pricing i saw the whole kit atkins for 800 im guessing if you are going to do a rebuild you might as well do the whole thing write?

In theory, re-building the motor is really simple. Just follow the steps! :)

You can buy the master rebuild kit, or just buy the gasket kit and find out if anything needs to be replaced, such as torrington bearings, etc, and buy them only after you find out what you need. At least, that's the path I'm taking. I figure that since my motor runs fine now, there's going to be a few things that I can keep and not have to spend the money to replace.
