rear transmission crossmember
hey guys, i finally got my tranny in, it took some sort of magic. anyways so i got to installing my rear crossmember and i really don't know how this happened since i put all my nuts and bolts into seperate bags but one of the bolts turned up missing, any idea where i can find a replacement? would anyone dare running with just the 3 holding it in place?

I wouldn't drive around at all with it like that, but I'm paranoid. Any Autozone or O'reiily's or whatever Automotive Shoppe will have the bolt you will need. I think the bolt is an M14 x 1.25.... let me double check.

a hardware store...

Is this the bolt you pmed me about?
If So, I have it Seriously doubt you will find the correct bolt at a hardware store... |
Spectrum24x, that bolt size is incorrect, its M12 x 1.25

The trans mount bolts just have a tapered end so the bolt will go in easier..
no big deal if that taper is not there,Just make sure that your bolt goes in straight and you are good to go. I used 3 bolts on my N/A temporarily, until I found the elusive bolt, but for a TII,it would not be the best Safety thing to do, |
