Rear Caliper Rebuild Help Me!

When I was putting on my SS lines the rubber boot on my right rear caliper cracked and started spraying brake fluid when I was trying to bleed the lines. I ordered the rebuild kit. I got the piston out of the caliper but have no idea how to rebuild it with the new hardware. The old ripped boot is still inside the caliper and isn't moving. Any advice on how to rebuild this would be greatly appreciated. The car is a '88 N/A.

this happened to me when i changed my pads.....i was stupid and pressed on the pedal when the pads were out  anywho, all i did was get the caliper out of the way, and all i replaced was the one rubber boot that i tore. it was a bitch to get out, but there is a metal ring that holds the rubber boot in place. you have to get a screw driver or something that you can poke down between the outside of the rubber boot/metal ring combo, and the inside wall in which the ring and boot are located. after you get those out, simply reinstall the new ones exactly like you took the old ripped ones out. if you have any more questions, feel free to ask, and i'll see if i can help anymore, or maybe someone else has done this also.

thank you very much. I was wondering if there was something holding the boot down.
