Re-rebuild gasket?

Ok, since my car had to low of compression to start. Im guessing i put something together wrong. So im going to take it out again and see what went wrong. 0 miles on the engine. Only has been cranked over. What gaskets should I be replacing and which one could I get away with not replacing.

how low is it? did you use 2-cycle oil in the housings to help build compression? did you use old housings?
all rebuilds with used housings start w/ very low compression until they are broken in

it was between 30-40 on both housings. I used oil to help build compression. Used old housings. But im thinking i did something wrong for it to be around those numbers.

It takes a while for compression to build, as the seals need to seat themselfs. just keep turning it over and it should build.

I've always been curious, but never saw the reason why new housings have better initial compression than old ones. It would seem to me that the seals would seat the same, and the only difference would be slight variation in compression due to wear making the 'chambers' slightly bigger.

ive been turning over for a day and no success. Tried push starting and nothing. Going to pull the motor tommarrow unless someone has another idea.
