Which RB header/prescilencer to buy?
 

I've pretty much decide i'm going to buy a RB exhaust setup, but i'm debating which one.

My options...

RB Streetable header/collecter + Presilencer (w/ 6pi pick-up tube) - $457.00

-or-

RB Cat replacement/downpipe + Presilencer (w/ 6pi pick-up tube) - $320.00

They say that the power increase is similar between the 2, but i'm thinking that if i street port my engine and do some intake work, i'd see better results with the header, than with the downpipe.

Is the extra $137 worth it?

Any thoughts, or testimonials???

the cat replacement dp just mats up to your stock exhaust manifold which is shitty, go with the header.

Go with the header. You'll get a few extra ponies way up top in the power band...

You hit the nail on the head. I can say that you definitely get more power with the header. Its not a huge amount, but I think its well worth the extra money.
