Radio Controlled Car GAS 20% nitro

Today i walked into a hobby shop and looked around and saw fuel for the RC cars and planes and found it labeled with a ratio of "20 % nitro"

I thought that i could maybe put it into my 89 t2 and see how it goes with it.

I wonder if anybody has done it before?

i dont think thatd be a good idea seeing as how its 2 stroke gas with prelubrication, id be afraid of it screwing up my O2 sensor

it will be like a nitro methane drag car for about 30 sec until i detonate

yeah... uhmm.. well, it was designed to run in glow plug engines... so it prolly detonates fairly easily....

...not a good thing to do on a TII...

Tell you what, we trade, you get my GX, I get your TII.. then you experiment on the GX... that way you can blow up a cheap N/A motor..... think of it, I'd be saving you money! ;)

that is ok cause may turbo is gone anay way and i have a leaky coolant seal so i still have to rebuild the engine

lol dont try it that fuel is specially made for 2-stroke glow plug engines....

its kinda weird how one of those small .20 size engines put out 1hp huh?

Rs4Racer 10-09-02 01:46 AM

have you also noticed it cost about $20 a gallon?
