Radiator problems
Hey guys, I got a problem with my radiator. I think it got a leak and I could see some of the coolant coming out from the top of the radiator. Is that possible? My water reservior keeps running out of water too. thanks

Make sure your hoses aren't leaking and also check the clamps.
On mine, the leak was on the back of the throttle body caused from the stock clamps. Get new clamps, there are four of them. 2 @ BAC 2 @ TB |
u need to presure test the system. or fill it up run it till its hot then check for leaks. if its an S4 check the hose running from the back iorn to the back of the TB. check your heater hoses going from engine to heater core and heater core to radiator, and the hose from water pump to the BAC. hope this helps

Yes is very possible to lose water from the top of the radiator. The stock plastic ones are bad about cracking along the top and or spliting where the plastic meets the aluminum.

check the "tag" on top of your stock radiator, it's notorious to crack there and get bigger. I'd suggest getting a new one if that happens... if you can't right now, buy a JB weld or something epoxy-like and put it over the hole/crack until you can replace your radiator.

Look around the coolant level sensor on the top of the rad, Ive had this leak on me quite a few times.

If the radiator is in fact leaking after you check the hose clamps and level sensor, just go to a salvage yard or buy a new one
