Are the Racing Beat True Duals absolutely deafening
they seem to hint at the presilencer and mufflers ability to quiet it, though i would never expect it to be "quiet" by any standard. would they be quiet enough to driver through a town in, stop at a light, and not get totally death stared? anyone know how loud they are in Decibels?
|
They are still a good bit quieter than any single exhaust system. I don't know any decibel figure, but they aren't crazy loud or anything. I don't know about quiet, but then again what is on a rotary?

All N/A's with high flow exhausts are pretty loud.

Actually the RB exhausts aren't too bad. Now quite, but not too loud. There are sounds clips here, also: http://howto.globalvicinity.com/gv_w...i=66&co=1&vi=1

I have them on my car and they are not too bad at all. At idle it almost sounds stock, almost.......

The true duals arent that loud.
Even with only the presilencer on, its only on the verge of getting pulled over. I didnt like the way the racing beat exhaust sounds so I paired it with two dynomax mufflers and I like it. http://www.sendspace.com/file/c23lnx below 2000 rpms its pretty quiet at half throttle, but once you punch it and the rpms start rising.......it will be louder then a no headers 4 cylinder engine, but will still sound deep and rotary :) |
well nobody said they were crazy loud, so im getting them for sure. i bet they make it feels great
