Runs bad in high gear.

At low rpms like 2200 or 2300 rpms in 4th and 5th gear if I try to give my car gas it seems to shake and not have any power. The turbo makes a fluttering noise and the boost gauge also flutters. Not exactly sure what it could be. At higher rpms in those gears it has plenty of power and all other gears runs fine and has plenty of power. There is an exhaust leak in between the turbo and the rotor housings that I haven't been able to fix yet. That's the only thing I can think of. Any ideas?

When cold it will stutter and miss at a low rpm with clutch disengaged but not after its warm.

Well, at 2200-2300 RPM in high gears the car isn't going to go anywhere because it doesn't make any power. Try shifting out of the previous gear a little later.

I know but it just bogs down more than normal and actually starts shaking.

sounds like its misfiring under a high load condition, typical signs of a coil going bad. I have seen cars that do not misfire under a very light load (idle, cruise). High load can find most ignition of fuel misfires. can you duplicate it by power braking?

Power braking and under high loads at lower gears it will run fine though.

Its not really a miss either. It runs fine other than the power loss and the shake its like the boost is cutting in and out also.

4th and 5th Gear are not high load conditions. Engine sees more stress at lower speeds during take off.

That's what I can't figure out haha. It does fine in lower gears doesn't have any issue. Just 4th and 5th and the turbo cuts in and out. Its pretty destinctive to the ear and you can see it plainly on the boost gauge.
