Racing Beat Dual exhaust louder than HKS Hiper (single)?

I was just wondering if the Racing Beat dual exhaust was louder than the single HKS Hiper exhaust. Also, does anybody have a sound clip of the racing beat dual and/or the hks hiper?

I have a racing beat dual and I love it. It is not too loud. I can hardly tell the difference from the stock one. Just a little louder at low rpm . Nice low agressive sound. No sound clip. Only thing I don't like is the driver side muffler is lower than the passenger side. I don't know why that is but I am going to try to raise it a bit. It is supposed to bolt up perfectly to stock mounts. I don't know if that is a problem with all or just the one that I have.

I'm very interested in the HKS Hiper. I'm just afraid it's going to be too quiet.

I have the Racing Beat full Exaust. It is just like stock when it is sitting there. But when i am red lining it, it is loud. I am cutting out the high flow cat and putting in 3" pipe it should be alot louder then. My car has a big street port done to it.

Highly unlikely. Two parallel mufflers are far more effective at silencing than one.

I have the RB n/a cat-back and my driverside muffler hangs a little lower also.... I think it's the way they're manufactured??? To straiten them out, all I did was hammer the hangers upwards, and got smaller rubber hangers.

My Hiper single would set off car alarms when I started the car up. Thats plenty loud IMO. It was on my N/A with cats still on.

I have a HKS hiper, very nice built quality, and great sounding.

Although, if you're in CA, you might think about the law, since I got pulled over one time, and the cop used a decibel meter on me, and at idle, it checked in at 96-97dbs (I believe CA has a 95db limit). He then told me it was not going to pass for sure, as he told me to rev it to 3000rpm, which was QUIETER! Haha, too bad for him. Anyways, he let me go.

I have my main cat and precat, so it's quieter. I did try it with a test pipe, and boy was it louder! If you plan on going catless, it will be loud, if keeping your cats, should be fine, although it should more than likely be louder than the RB duals.

BTW, I think the frequencies of the exhausts make a difference in whether it sets off car alarms. My WRX is not that loud, and yet it sets off alarms easily. Boxer engines with uneven lengths exhaust manifold have a lower, rumbling exhaust tone, which causes vibrations, and that sets off alarms IMO.

dude, you're asking if a cannon/rocket type exhaust is "too quiet"? they're loud, trust me, whether it's single or dual muffler, they're gonna be loud.
