quiet fan question

I was just wondering: if i got an electric fan would it get rid of that annoying whooshing sound at low speeds? Im not worried about the 0.001hp gain or any of that lol Just curious.

well it would replace the "woosh" with a loud "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm"

so - no. hehe

And from my experience most e-fan setups are louder than the clutch fan at idle...assuming your car isn't 150db at idle.

hmmm, so your saying if i want to avoid the noise [of the fan] i just need to drive faster, more. lol

ok thanks for the help.

while im driving I dont here the e-fan at all when its on. Only when I come to a stop sign :)

Its not as loud as the stock fan when the clutch is engauged

I can't help but wonder why the hell it matters

Yes, but to do this properly, you need a good thermostat controller, which adds more money.
I like and use the Spal FAN-PWM electric fan controller.
