quick question for na

ive been out of the na thing for a little bit and totally forgot how the aux ports work. please correct me if im wrong.

so the 5th and 6th ports remain open during idle and low rpms for a little more power in the low end, correct?

and then they close at mid-high rpms so it doesnt bog down during highway speeds?

also the aux for an s4 are vaccum operated, correct?

i have an s4 automatic, yes automatic in perfect condition cosmetically speaking lol

Yes. Closed during low rpm for better torque. Operated by exhaust gasses taken off a 1/8" tube on the split air pipe just after the checkvalve in the split air pipe.

The aux actuator piston when full up closes the aux ports off and when they are full down the aux ports are full open. Series four car. Series five is just the opposite .........down is closed and full up is open and those ones are operated off the airpump pressue via a solenoid.
