can i use a s4 t2 tranny in my s5 t2?

Yep. I believe there is one different electrical connection, but a simple rewire (check shop manual) is easy.

Pretty sure they're 3.475 through all years for the TII...

so that would mean shorter 5th gear, in other words quicker accretion shorter top speed right?
